Description

Rare 1919 Rosenthal Porcelain Christmas Plate. Subject is "St. Christopher with the Christ Child". Blue and white with gold highlights, diameter is 8 5/16 inches, stunning design by Dr. Wilhelm Schertel (1883–1930). It has a tiny glaze chip to the rim at the 3 o'clock position and minor wear to the gilding, otherwise it is in excellent condition.
