Description

Beautiful Christmas plate designed by the famous Danish artist Bjørn Wiinblad for Christmas 1977 and produced by Rosenthal in Selb, Germany. It says on the reverse side: "Rosenthal studio-linie Germany, Weihnachtsteller 1977, Anbetung der Hirten, Bjørn Wiinblad, handdekoriert." Bjørn Wiinblad (1918-2006) was a Danish designer and artist in ceramics, silver and other materials. In Heidi Laura's book "A Piece of Paradise" you can read about Bjørn Wiinblad and his time.
